Relaxed Forward Fold

Benefits:

  • Stretches hips and hamstrings

  • Relieves neck and shoulder tension

  • Relieves head ache

Steps:

  • Start standing with feet hip width apart

  • Bend knees slightly and press back through hips as you fold forward

  • Hold onto opposite elbows

  • Drop head, looking directly at knees

  • Shake your head from side to side, relaxing your neck

  • Stay in this position, taking 4-6 deep breaths

  • Slowly roll up, returning to standing
